Celine Dion made the most of that Titanic soundtrack cash! The legendary diva has listed her insane 17,000 square-foot Jupiter Island, Florida home for $72 million — dropping the price $10 million from the original $82 million asking price!
Why is it still so high?
For starters, because it was a work of art and labor of love for the singer and her husband, Rene Angelil: Dion bought the property for just $12.5 million, tore down the existing six-bedroom, six-bathroom mansion, then built their own dream estate, inspired by the Bahamas. Take a gander at the luxurious estate below (with even more photos here) and see just why $72 million may be a steal for this place!
The mansion rests right on the Atlantic Ocean. But in case salt water isn't your thing, no problem -- it's loaded with three separate pools.
One pool rests at the rear of the mansion by the ocean. There are two connecting pools at the front with a full-fledged water park.
The pools come with their own house, too. The property boasts a double 4-bedroom guest house, a tennis house with simulated golf range leading to the tennis court, a pool house with a built-in grill and separate kitchen, as well as a cozy beach house with a second-floor sleeping loft. Still not relaxed? It also has a massage room.
The master bedroom suite boasts a wrap-around terrace overlooking the ocean. It also has two separate decks: one has an outdoor fireplace, the other has a hot tub. Even more amazing? Dion's got a dressing room with an enormous walk-in closet and fully-automated clothes and shoe racks.
The mansion rests on 5.5 acres. All that property means privacy, which allows Dion and family to enjoy the huge windows and ocean views.
Need an extra bonus? The home is being sold fully furnished. Because Dion loved you.
