Welcome back, Minkus and Shawn!
With the release of a few new photos from the set of Girl Meets World, we've got confirmation that a few Boy Meets World favorites are popping in to say hello!
Shawn Hunter makes his appearance at a family holiday dinner, where Amy and Alan Matthews are also in attendance. As for Minkus, he's strolling the halls of the NYC middle school where Cory Matthews is now a teacher. Looks like things could be getting interesting!
While no official premiere date has been announced yet, we do know this will be a highlight of our summer. And since summer is a great time to find love, we thought we'd look back at the smartest and most romantic things Cory Matthews ever said. Be prepared for your heart to melt all over again.
Mom, listen, I haven't been together with Topanga for 22 years, but we have been together for 16. That's a lot longer than most couples have been together. When we were born, you told me that we used to take walks in our strollers together in the park. When we were two, we were best friends. I knew everything about this girl ... Then we became six, and Eric made fun of me because it wasn't cool to have a best friend that was a girl or even know a girl, so for the next seven years I threw dirt at her. I like to call those 'the lost years.' Then when I was 13, Mom, she put me up against my locker and she kissed me. She gave me my first kiss. She taught me how to dance. She was always talking about these crazy things and I never understood a word she said. All I understood was that she was the girl I sat up every night thinking about, and when I'm with her I feel happy to be alive ... So that's what I feel is love, Mom.
I believe in love like I believe in God: You can't touch it, you can't see it, but you can feel its wrath.
Cory: So we're the only two guys in the world who think there's still hope for Topanga and me, and you're throwing in the towel?
Cory: Okay, all right.
Shawn Hunter: You okay?
Cory: Yeah, sure. It's a strange feeling though.
Shawn: What? That it's finally over between you and Topanga?
Cory: No, being the only person who knows it's not.
"Ever since I was young I never understood anything about the world, and I never understood anything that happened in my life. The only thing that ever made sense to me was you, and how I felt about you. That's all I've ever known and that's enough, that's enough for me, for the rest of my life."
If every marriage failed except one, I guarantee you that one would be ours.
