Billie Joe Armstrong has been happily married to wife Adrienne for nearly 20 years, but opened up about his bisexuality in 1995. He told The Advocate, "I think I've always been bisexual. I mean, it's something that I've always been interested in. I think people are born bisexual, and it's just that our parents and society kind of veer us off into this feeling of 'Oh, I can't.' They say it's taboo. It's ingrained in our heads that it's bad, when it's not bad at all. It's a very beautiful thing."

Evan Rachel Wood came out as bisexual on Twitter in 2012. She said of her sexuality, "[bisexuality is] a big part of who I am, and it always has been for as long as I can remember...I've honestly fallen in love with a man and I've honestly fallen in love with a woman...I don't know how you label that, it's just how it is."

Marlon Brando was "outed" in several biographies, but openly acknowledged his sexuality while he was alive. "Like a large number of men, I, too, have had homosexual experiences and I am not ashamed. I have never paid much attention to what people think about me."

Amber Heard might've had a relationship with Johnny Depp, but she came out as bisexual at a 2010 GLAAD event. She sees sexuality as a fluid thing: "I don't label myself one way or another—I have had successful relationships with men and now a woman. I love who I love; it's the person that matters."

The singer came out as bisexual in an interview with Barbara Walters in 2009. She also revealed that "Poker Face" was about her bisexuality. But despite this admission, there were still skeptics. Her response to them was, "You know what? It's not a lie that I am bisexual and I like women, and anyone that wants to twist this into 'she says she's bisexual for marketing,' this is a fucking lie. This is who I am and who I have always been."

In an interview with Contact Magazine in 2003, Drew Barrymore finally confirmed suspicions about her sexuality. She admitted to have slept with several women.

"I love a woman's body. I think a woman and a woman together are beautiful, just as a man and a woman together are beautiful. Being with a woman is like exploring your own body, but through someone else,” she said.

In an interview with Out magazine in 2010, Ke$ha said that she didn’t want to label herself as gay or straight because she "just like[s] people." Two years later, repeats this to Seventeen magazine. "I don’t love just men. I love people. It’s not about a gender. It’s just about the spirit that exudes from that other person you’re with."

Vanessa Carlton came out while headlining at Nashville Pride in 2010, saying, "I've never said this before but, while we’re here and living out loud as we should every single day, I, myself, am a proud bisexual woman."

When the former "Sex and the City" star married wife Christine Marinoni in 2012, many believed Cynthia Nixon to be a lesbian. But in an interview with The Daily Beast, she revealed that was attracted to both genders, but had refused to idenity herself as bisexual due to the disrespect that came with the label.

"I think for gay people who feel 100 percent gay, it doesn’t make any sense. And for straight people who feel 100 percent straight, it doesn’t make any sense. I don’t pull out the bisexual' word because nobody likes the bisexuals. Everybody likes to dump on the bisexuals," she said.

The Transformers actress came out as bisexual in 2011. In a GQ interview in 2008, she admitted to falling in love with a stripper and had a crush on Olivia Wilde.

"I have no question in my mind about being bisexual. But I'm also a hypocrite: I would never date a girl who was bisexual, because that means they also sleep with men, and men are so dirty that I'd never want to sleep with a girl who had slept with a man," she said in a 2011 interview with Esquire.
