Prior to Carrie Bradshaw's 1998 debut, Parker found her real-life Mr. Big when she married actor Matthew Broderick in May of 1997. "I wore black on my wedding day, and I really regret that," Parker told Marie Claire. "I was too embarrassed to get married in white, and both Matthew and I were reluctant to have people pay so much attention to us. Which is ridiculous, because that's when you can relish the attention, when it's natural."
Following Sex and the City's final episode in 2004, Parker, who pulled double-duty as executive producer on the hit HBO series, expanded her family with Broderick. Welcoming their first son James Wilkie in 2002, the couple brought home twin daughters Marion and Tabitha "through the generous help of a surrogate" in 2009.
Most recently, SJP gave a nod to Bradshaw's Vogue obsession, playing Kurt's fashion mentor at the glossy magazine on Glee.
