Susan Sarandon's Daughter, Eva Amurri, Ties The Knot!
The actress married her soccer player beau in South Carolina over the weekend.

Susan Sarandon may have sworn off marriage a long time ago, but that doesn't mean she wasn't supportive of her daughter's decision to tie the knot this weekend. Eva Amurri, 26, married her former soccer player beau and ESPN correspondent, Kyle Martino, 30, in a ceremony that took place in the groom's hometown of Charleston, South Carolina.

People reports that the nuptials were hosted by the mother-of-the-bride and Tim Robbins, who helped raise Eva during his 21-year-relationship with Susan (Eva's biological father is Italian filmmaker Franco Amurri). It was a weekend full of events and activities, including a scavenger hunt, cocktail party, oyster roast and barbeque rehearsal dinner. The ceremony was officiated by Sister Helen Prejean—the woman whom Susan Sarandon's Academy Award-winning role in Dead Man Walking was based. Directly following the ceremony was a black-tie reception where the guests toasted the happy couple with champagne.

According to People, Eva wore a Lela Rose gown ("I tried it on and it was over," she confessed), while her mother and bridesmaids also wore dresses by the designer. The groom donned a Brioni tux.

US Weekly reports that despite Susan and Tim's separation a few years ago, the celebratory weekend went as planned without any family drama. A source says the family "seemed very happy to celebrate Eva's big day together. It was a very fun affair." Susan Sarandon And Tim Robbins Split

Eva and Kyle announced their engagement back in December, when Eva tweeted, "The most wonderful man on this planet is now my fiancé!"

The groom-to-be also tweeted his excitement about their plans to wed: "I asked, and @EAmurri said yes."

Although Susan Sarandon doesn't believe in the institution of marriage (she once told the press that she would never consider marrying again until all people—gay and straight—were given equal marriage rights), she's totally supportive of Eva and thinks very highly of her new son-in-law. "He's just a very sane, really lovely guy," Sarandon told Us Weekly earlier this year. "His family's fabulous. He adores her.
