Bachelor Update: Jason and Molly Are Engaged
Second time's the charm for the Bachelor who admitted he chose the wrong girl the first time around.

If you're like me, your affection for the The Bachelor has waned over the years. You probably skipped a few seasons here and there (There have been 14 Bachelors and Bachlorettes. Fourteen!), but you most likely caught some snippet of the notorious Jason Mesnick. You know, the single dad. Dating A Single Dad: What It's Really Like
He's the one who chose Melissa Rycroft, skipped off happily, then realized he should have chosen Molly Malaney. Oops. And he also chose an unusual way to break the news to Melissa: via national television. He broke up with her on ABC's Bachelor catch-up show, and he asked Molly to give him a second chance in one fell swoop.
ABC followed the two for a while, as they kept a long-distance relationship—even up until now. (He's in Seattle; she's in Milwaukee.) And now they're officially engaged—and not in a weird, I-don't-really-know-you Bachelor way. In a real deal kind of way. Are You Single Because Of Where You Live?
According to People, who broke the news, Jason brought Molly to New Zealand (where The Bachelor was filmed) and popped the question. Must be nice to get a proposal rather than the runner-up prize (read: sent packing back to the States solo) this time, huh, Molly?
