WEll, it's not like the next step after the first date is meeting at the altar. there are many stages in a relationship, and it doesn't seem inconcievable that someone could be suspended in one of them.

Isn't the goal of going on dates, so you eventually get to the point where you are NOT going on dates? Its like taking weight loss advice from someone who is always on a diet.
