About Sheryl Woodhouse

I'd love to share with you a bit of the way I work.    There is no need to stay locked in a battle with your loved ones. We move from “who is more tired, or who is to blame,” and provide answers. Marital/Relational Problems: Achieve healthy resolutions for both partners in the areas of finances, sex, child raising, mutual goals, and family issues. Many people say it is difficult to communicate with their spouse/partner no matter how long or how hard they try. Frequently the quality of the relationship deteriorates due to underlying reasons that go beyond “we just can’t communicate.” Individual Relationships: Learn how to date, how to identify red flags and choose healthy relationships and avoid unhealthy ones. Learn how to develop healthy existing relationships. Understand the origin of unhealthy patterns and break them. Family Relationships: Improve parent/child relations which involve any one or many pressing social situations of the 21st Century that affect your children: divorce, blended family issues, domestic violence, sexual abuse, drugs, bullying and cell phones/Internet use/abuse. Life Coaching/Personal Empowerment: Learn to listen to your needs, set healthy boundaries, reduce anxiety and depression, reduce stress levels and achieve balance. Loss: When it comes to loss, there is no good time. Sometime we lose unexpectedly through accidents or a crime. Other times there are loses from illnesses, miscarriage, a divorce, or broken engagement. We feel: shock, disbelief, anger, confusion, and numbness. There is no judgment or preconceived notion on how grieving should occur. I offer a warm, safe, and accepting environment to bring grief as long as needed. Afterwards you will be able to move forward and feel comfortable with your self. Sew Seeds 4 Family Healing specializes in Marriage, Family and Couples Therapy and Counseling.
