Did you know that it is possible to have an accidental orgasm without being involved in a sexual activity? This actually may be more common than you think. It is extremely possible to orgasm by accident when doing ordinary activities, even if they are not sexualized at all. If this has happened to you, do not feel like you are abnormal—it's a totally natural phenomenon!

Why They Happen...
Accidental orgasms happen because there is friction along the sensitive area of the vagina. This may be attributed to many different types of activities that overall may be affected by light or constant stimulation. You should not be ashamed or embarrassed if you have an accidental orgasm because that is exactly what it is—an accident.
You cannot help if there is a certain rubbing sensation when you are doing ordinary tasks that just happen to hit the right spot. When you have an accidental orgasm, it does not mean that you have developed a fetish or that you were mentally turned on. It can happen purely for physical reasons. It is just something that is prone to happen with those who have more sensitive vulvas. This may happen once with ordinary activity, or over and over. Regardless, an accidental orgasm cannot be expected or anticipated, and there is no use trying to avoid them.
Reasons Accidental Orgasms May Occur
Accidental orgasms may occur for many different reasons. First, I'm going to talk about the science behind orgasms to give you a good idea of what is happening when an orgasm occurs.
Usually reaching orgasm is the main goal of an individual in sexual situations. However, in the case of accidental orgasms, it might not always be appropriate or wanted. An orgasm is defined as a "sudden movement, spasm, contraction, or convulsion...a surge of sexual excitement." It is further defined as "an explosive discharge of neuromuscular tensions at the height of sexual arousal that is usually accompanied by vaginal contractions in the female." The most relatable definition of an orgasm is from D. Alfred Kinsey, who once said that an orgasm "can be likened to the crescendo, climax, and sudden stillness achieved by an orchestra of human emotions...an explosion of tensions, and to sneezing."
The key part of this definition is the orgasm's similarity to sneezing. Sneezing is the perfect metaphor for an accidental orgasm, because it is a sudden and unexpected act that also has an intense, though brief, sensation. This is the most apt way to describe an accidental orgasm.

There has been a lot of research and debate surrounding when and how one reaches an orgasm. What turns on the body is a big factor in reaching an orgasm, but it is more than just the vulva and vagina that is dictating if you will have an orgasm or not. The brain plays a major role in your orgasms. Let's take a look at the messages that the body sends to the brain.
The first and foremost component of having an orgasm is found from the nerves that send impulses back to the spinal cord and brain. Without this factor, an orgasm simply would not be possible. The genitalia contain different nerves that send information to the brain in order to send messages about the sensation that is being experienced. Depending on which part of your body is being touched, you will feel an orgasm differently. A clitoral orgasm is a different sensation from a vaginal orgasm, for instance. This is because there are a mostly-different set of nerves involved in the process.
When experiencing an accidental orgasm, it is likely that you are experiencing it due to clitoral stimulation. This is because the clitoris sits on the outside of the vulva and is likely to be stimulated during certain specific activities. The clitoris alone has more than 8,000 nerve endings which are connected to large nerves that run up through the body to the spinal cord. Common everyday activities that can stimulate your clitoris include horseback riding and cycling.
However, you may also experience accidental vaginal orgasms too. This is usually due to you tensing your kegel muscles. Activities like doing ab crunches are commonly reported to cause you to have an accidental orgasm.
Other Reasons For Accidental Orgasms
If you find that you get accidental orgasms often, there may be many reasons for this. If you are a particularly horny individual (and lets face it, you might be after reading the tips on the Bad Girl's Bible site), someone who is very easily aroused or turned on all the time, an accidental orgasm is more likely to occur. This is because you are already in the right mind for achieving orgasm, which is essentially the best factor possible that will set one up for an accidental orgasm.
For those with a high sex drive, accidental orgasms may be more common. This is because your brain is naturally receptive to them, and so any further stimulation would aid with the development of an accidental orgasm.
However, even if one has a particularly high sex drive and is horny all the time, that does not mean that accidental orgasms will occur. In fact, only a small amount of the population reports having had an unplanned orgasm. It would be difficult to try to attain an accidental orgasm if it does not already happen naturally in the body. If this is a desirable factor for you, there is no one-way to prep for having accidental orgasms on the regular. For this, it is best to not over think an accidental orgasm and to accept it as it comes.
Common Ways Of Achieving Accidental Orgasms
There are many different ways that an individual may experience an accidental orgasm. The common denominator of each activity is that there is a constant, albeit light, friction that may happen in the vulva area or a lot of pressure on your kegel muscles. So try these exercises to help you experience an orgasm by accident:
Horseback Riding: As discussed before, you will have a lot of contact on your clitoris and vulva from your saddle.
Motorbike Riding: Ever been on a motorbike? Notice the intense vibrations from it? Motorbikes are the perfect way to apply massive stimulation to your clitoris and vuvla areas. The only problem is that if you are in control of the motorbike, you may have trouble focusing on the road as you reach orgasm! So you may find it a better idea to ride as a passenger.
Riding Your Bike: Depending on the shape of your bike saddle, you may be able to experience some pretty intense direct stimulation to your clitoris and vuvla. Perfect for a bit of sexercise!
Ab Crunches & Lifting Heavy Weights: When performing ab crunches or lifting heavy weights, you will naturally be tightening and loosening your kegel muscles quite intensely. Depending on how well these muscles are developed, you can give yourself some pretty intense, vaginal (not clitoral) orgasms.
