Ms. Moreah Vestan (BA,MA)

Author

I haven't always been a free spirit. I was raised one of nine children of an Iowa Catholic farm family and took authority very seriously. Believing I might have a calling to the religious life, I was even in the convent for a year.

Since then, I have taught high school English and second grade.  I've been an Event Coordinator, an Admissions Director at nursing homes, and an inside salesperson. I am currently a Life Coach, a Communication Trainer and Author. A landlady since 1985, I rent rooms to six housemates.

I have an M.A. in Adult Education, and was a relationship columnist 16 years for Seattle's Active Singles Life. I was on the board of the Puget Sound Coaching Association for three years. A Personal and Professional Coach since 1998, I also bring to my practice the skills and awarenesses I have learned in Voice Dialogue, co-counseling, Nonviolent (Compassionate) Communication, and Enneagrams.

I enjoy dancing, travel, philosophizing, meeting men through the personals, learning on the Internet and staying young with my granddaughters, among other interests. I am dedicated to "fully expressing all of who I am." My intention is to never grow up.
Four values guide my life: connection, contribution, discovery and freedom. These principles have led me to travel on my own in Southeast Asia and other countries, and to teach English as a Second Language in Mexico.

Contact me in Seattle at 206-938-8385 or email me. I offer a complimentary 30-minute coaching call, and work with people in person, by phone or by email to resolve difficult conversations in their lives. I am available for seminars and workshops. Visit my web site at Communication Coaching.

The Reason I Became A Helping Professional

I love helping people to clarity and contentment.  I hope everyone I relate to and everyone I coach moves toward self-acceptance, full self-expression and personal fulfillment.

I value and use what I have learned in Nonviolent (Compassionate) Communication, the Law of Attraction, the work of Byron Katie, and many other books, teachings and experiences I have had.  I know everyone does the best they know how to try and meet their needs, and when I connect with their feelings and needs, full and deep communication is possible.

I intend to practice and promote peace, ease, clarity and freedom with people I work with, in ways that work for them.
