The Reason I Became A Helping Professional

One day, out-of-the-blue, my future husband turned to me and said:  "You aren't an importer.  You should be a therapist or a coach."  At the time I owned a small gift store in Sunset Junction, a hip strip in the "artsy" part of LA.  I also had a wholesale business importing fine folk art and home decor from Mexico and Vietnam.  "Why do you say that?" I asked.  He looked at me in that wise, intense, definitive way of his and said, "Because your passion is personal transformation."  His comment left me speechless, which is really saying something.  I felt "seen" in a way I had never been before.  He was absolutely right.  Coaching really was my true path, so transitioning from one career to another was seamless.  I closed the store and a former boyfriend stepped in and bought my wholesale business.  Two months later, I enrolled in The Coaches Training Institute and never looked back.  For the past 9 years I've had the joy of helping hundreds of men and women find true love.  Coaching is my passion.  For me, there is no work I find more gratifying.
