About Diana Shulman, JD, PhD

Diana Shulman, J.D., Ph.D. is a psychotherapist with 25+ years of experience working with individuals and couples. She is the author of The ABCs of Love: Learn How Couples Rekindle Desire and Find Happiness, set for release in January 2018.

Diana is one of a small group of therapists certified in both Gottman Method and Emotionally Focused Therapy for Couples (EFT), research-based approaches that are the result of decades of work with thousands of couples. She uses these and other interventions to help couples overcome anxiety, defensiveness, and resistance to change, whether conscious or unconscious.

Before becoming a psychoanalyst, Dr. Diana practiced law for 12 years. She’s given workshops and seminars for attorneys on stress and burn-out, procrastination, relationship dissatisfaction, career imbalance, and related topics. She lives in the Los Angeles area with her faithful companions: five dogs and one husband. You can find her online at www.dianashulman.com.
