Are you ready to make a change that will benefit and please you?  I offer traditional and non-traditional approaches to emotional healing.  As a licensed clinical social worker with 10+ years of experience in private practice in Cary, NC; I take a practical approach to emotional healing.

 I like to think of it as the 3 E's to healing:  examination, exploration and education.  Some people already have a good idea as to what they need to do to change their inner landscape; they need a consultant to encourage. Some other people need specific instructions on “how do you …” ; they need a skills trainer to educate. And others need space where the therapist gently guides them as they examine their life, so they can learn that they are “okay” and they can choose to live a life in the present moment that has meaning for them.

This can be done using Energy Psychology techniques such as Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT) and/or hypnotherapy or the traditional approach of psychotherapy such as Transactional Analysis (TA). 

My clientele consists of individuals and couples over the age of 18.

The Reason I Became A Helping Professional

I was programmed from a very young age to take care of others since I was the oldest of 6 children. I have found taking care of others did not mean rescuing them; it meant being willing to hold their thoughts and feelings without rescuing.  My work keeps me aware on a daily basis of the importance of being present and taking a non-judgemental stance for which I am grateful to have that opportunity and make a living too!
