If He Doesn't Feel Lucky To Have You, It's Time To Break Up

Not all relationships are worth staying in.

It's important to check in with how you're feeling and how you're being treated as much as you possibly can. It's way too easy to get lazy and lost in the monotony of a relationship, and forget about what it feels like to have real passion and love.

Just because you're comfortable, doesn't mean it's right.

You should feel more than just a familiar arm around you. You should feel like the person holding you knows what they're holding on to.

Of course people are people and we sometimes forget to put forth effort in our relationships. Life gets busy and it happens. But all it should take is one clear conversation about you feeling ignored to get back on track.

You shouldn't have to fight for affection or attention for the person you're dating.

Displaying love — in whatever way that means to you — should come easily and naturally.

There are 101 different things you'll have to consciously do to keep a relationship strong. Showing love and making sure the other person feels loved shouldn't be one of them.

If you don't feel like the person you're with is totally and completely psyched to be with you, then why be with them? You know you've felt this way about someone before. You know it's real and possible.

So don't settle for anything less than that.

Relationships aren't worth staying in if you don't feel like the other person really wants to be with you.

You should both feel lucky, and if you don't, it's time to breakup.
