Hey girl. Time to rip off the bandaid, ladies: Eva Mendes just gave birth to her first baby with Ryan Gosling.The couple welcomed their baby girl on Friday, Sept. 12, according to Us Weekly.

We know, we know it hurts! The occasional actress and full-time hottie Mendes announced her pregnancy in July, at seven months along, which may explain why she hadn't been in the public eye sporting her usual body-hugging attire. (Seriously, even straight women have missed seeing that brunette bombshell and her glorious curves on red carpets!)

A source told OK! magazine that Mendes has wanted a little one for some time. "She's been ready for motherhood for a while now," the insider dished.

The couple met filming The Place Beyond The Pines and first stepped out as a couple in 2011. (This wasn't the first time Gosling dated a costar: He romanced Rachel McAdams and Michelle Williams previously, with whom he respectively starred in The Notebook and Blue Valentine; he also dated Sandra Bullock.) Gosling and Mendes had a brief breakup earlier this year, but rekindled the flame, apparently without contraceptives.

Another source noted that just because they have a baby now, don't necessarily expect Gosling to put a ring on it — but don't expect him to bolt anytime soon, either. The source said, "Ryan grew up without a dad, so he always said when he had kids, he'd be there no matter what. This is it for him." A fellow Gosling-Mendes pal explained, "Ryan doesn't think they need to marry just because they are having a baby but Eva believes it's important to have their lives fully intertwined."
