Find out which actor didn't want to be Christian Grey in the 'Fifty Shades Of Grey' movie and more!
Fifty Shades Of Grey is one of the most hotly (and we do mean hotly) anticipated movies of 2015, but one actor wanted to stay far away from Christian Grey -- even though this guy would have been a shoe-in for the role! Who is it?
The 23-year-old actor confessed to Nylon Guys, "I think it would have been the wrong kind of hype to bring toward us. It would have been kind of funny that this character that all these women fancy — he's one in a million — and my wife picks her husband to play the part? I would love to have done something together again, but it wouldn't have been Fifty. We were both on the same page."
Taylor-Johnson also laughed, "We don't have a Red Room at home." So did he read the Fifty Shades Of Grey trilogy? "No, I did not," he admitted. "I'll watch the movie, though!" We sure hope so! And really, we doubt anyone minds that Jamie Dornan won the role over Aaron, right?
Meanwhile, someone who gladly took a role in the Fifty Shades Of Grey movie, Rita Ora, is talking about the flick -- but she's being careful not to give too much away.
Ora, who stars as Mia Grey, the adopted sister of Christian Grey, dished, "I've seen some. I've definitely seen my parts. I'm literally sworn to secrecy, but what I can say is expect something that would really make it worth your while."
She added, "Doing the movie was probably one of the best things ever, being in Vancouver, getting out of the music and just making it work was really good. I did like eight auditions, so I thought I would never get it. It was incredible that it worked out."
As for how Ora ended up with the role? By accident, it turns out! The British songstress said she originally approached producers to work on the soundtrack, and "It ended up with me being in the movie," she said. "I'm not going to complain."
Neither will we! You go, Rita!
Another star of Fifty Shades Of Grey sworn to secrecy about the film? Anastasia Steele herself, Dakota Johnson!
At a Calvin Klein event this week, Johnson was asked about the BDSM-enthusiast flick. Johnson told press of the super-sexy movie, "Everything is a little bit secret but I can tell you that I think people will be pleased with the movie, hopefully!" She continued, "I'm doing this movie because I love it and I believe in the story and I believe in the books and I hope that I will do them justice."
Someone she doesn't necessarily want to give the Fifty Shades Of Grey movie a stamp of approval? Her parents, Don Johnson and Melanie Griffith. Johnson laughed, "No, they won't be watching the movie -- not with my permission. Anyway, I don't think the movie is something that my parents would want to see!"
