Chris Brown is at it again. On Monday, the R&B singer was in court in Los Angeles where it was revealed that he tested positive for marijuana in June in Virginia. And according to Detroit Free Press, ex-girlfriend Rhianna tweeted him to show her support.
Brown has fullfilled his community service hours in Virginia while Superior Court Judge, Patricia Schnegg sorts through the case, which she claims is "somewhat cyrptic". Apparently, Brown produced a medical marijuana card in which Schnegg did not tell Brown he could not use, so the positive test result may not make an impact. Patricia did urge Chris to be mindful of his reputation and public image, even if marijuana with a medical card is legal. "You are not an average person who can sit in their living room and do what you want to do," Schnegg reminded Brown. That's for sure.
Despite the impact this case will have on Chris Brown, ex-girlfriend Rhianna was right there by his side—through Twitter. Rhianna took to Twitter before Chris went into court and tweeted "@chrisbrown I'm praying for you and wishing u the best today!" 3 Reasons We're Angry About Rihanna Secretly Seeing Chris Brown
As we know, some Rhianna and Chris Brown fans alike will not be happy with this news. Many believe that she shouldn't give Chris the time of day after he assaulted her in 2009 let alone tweet him with her support. Regardless of which side you're on, the fact is that Chris Brown and Rhianna are close friends—at the least—and a tweet like this should come as no surprise. After her various interviews, she has explained that she was, and probably still is completely in love with Chris.
All we hope is that Chris cleans up his act sooner rather than later. If not for Rhianna who stays true to him, than at least for his fans—the few he has left.
