Emily Maynard opens up about her new fiancé, Jef Holm, and how their love is worth the work.

True love can be as sticky as jam and as sweet as candy sometimes. In fact, it's usually a mix of the two. We all know that in a relationship—even the best ones—love can be a bit crazy and chaotic. It seems as though the newly engaged Bachelorette star Emily Maynard knows this feeling well.

In a letter Ms. Maynard wrote to People about her upcoming nuptials to Bachelorette winner and fiancé, Jef Holm, she writes: "There were many ups and downs, and at times things were very chaotic, but love is worth the chaos!"

Although Emily thoroughly enjoyed her time on the show, she tells her fans that she is happy the show is over so that she can finally tell the world about the "amazing man I get to call my fiancé!"

"Jef and I have been looking forward to this day for so long and are so excited to start our lives together. I've always believed in great love and hoped I'd find it one day. However, I had no idea a love like this even existed!" Emily continued. 8 Love Lessons Women Can Learn From 'The Bachelorette'

Jef and Emily, with the addition of Emily's daughter Ricki, will make one happy and fun-loving family. But, that doesn't mean Emily will forget her amazing experience and life long lessons from The Bachelorette.

"Being the Bachelorette has been an incredible experience and I couldn't be more thankful for all the support. I learned so much about myself and so many lessons that I'll implement into our relationship," Emily said.

It seems as though the future Mrs. Holm has a firm grasp on what love is, which is something extremely fresh and welcoming. So many of us now-a-days assume that a good relationship is one without fighting, and when there is a fight, it feels like we turn our cheek and run without giving it our all. But Emily is 100 percent correct in saying that, "love is worth the chaos!" I mean, look at Ali and Noah in The Notebook. Sure, sure they may be fictional characters in a movie, but deep down we know that they are a great example of true love. They may have fought every day, but they loved each other and knew that beacuse of that, they'd always find a way to make it work. It's why we need a box of tissues and a glass of wine every time we watch it.

So, here's a toast to the soon-to-be newlyweds and the elated ex-bachelorette herself! It seems as though her second love was definitely a charm worth waiting for.
