Just five months after getting engaged to her art consultant beau Will Kopelman, Drew Barrymore walked down the aisle this Saturday to say "I do" for the third, and hopefully last, time!
According to People, the Jewish ceremony was "a classic, simple, very pretty, garden-inspired wedding" held in the backyard of Drew's two acre estate in Montecito, California. The wedding was designed and orchestrated by planners Yifat Oren and Stefanie Cove (the same dream team that did Reese Witherspoon's backyard wedding last year).
The couple was married by Kopelman's rabbi underneath a custom-made chuppah in a 45-minute ceremony that started at 6:30pm, a source tells Us Weekly. There was a reading of the poem "I Carry Your Heart With Me" by E.E. Cummings, and the groom broke glass after he kissed the bride. Mazel tov!
Beaming (and pregnant!) Barrymore, 37, wore a Chanel gown, which she picked up last Wednesday from the Chanel boutique in Beverly Hills with BFF Cameron Diaz by her side. It was a fitting choice of designer since Kopelman, 34, is the son of the label's former CEO, Ariel Kopelman. Drew Barrymore Is "Daydreaming" About Her (Jewish?) Wedding
Barrymore accessorized her gown with white gardenias in her hair and a Chanel white coat for after the festivities.
Besides Cameron Diaz, other guests included Steven Spielberg, Kate Capshaw, Reese Witherspoon and her hubby Jim Toth, Busy Phillips and Jimmy Fallon, according to x17online. Guests noshed on Lucques lobster rolls while they listened to an 80s cover band called The Spazmatics play all night, says Us Weekly. Later they watched the newlyweds have their first dance to "Nobody's Gonna Love You" by Band of Horses.
After the celebrations were over at 2am, everyone watched Drew and her new husband drive away in a classic black Mercedes headed towards San Ysidro Ranch. The happy couple couldn't help but kiss in the backseat (TooFab has a photo) as they drove off into wedded bliss.
Congrats to the happy couple!
