Wilmer Valderrama & Demi Lovato: Their Age Gap Broke Them Up!

It looks like the relationship between Demi Lovato and former That 70s Show star Wilmer Valderrama may have crashed and burned...again.

According to HollywoodLife, the 19-year-old singer, who recently won "Favorite Female Pop Artist" at the People's Choice Awards, and the 31-year-old actor have broken up due to issues stemming from their 12-year age difference.

However, considering that this split now marks the third time the on-off couple has broken up since they first got together in 2010 (and the fact that the same excuse was given the last time around), it makes us think that there's probably something more to the story. (E! Online even speculates that maybe Demi's ex, Joe Jonas, may have contributed to her split, since he has been spotted getting really chummy with Wilmer in recent weeks.) However, while there's been no official confirmation of who was the dumper and who was the dumpee, Demi's recent and cryptic Tweets, like this one where she wrote: "The smartest thing a woman can ever learn, is to never need a man," seem to corroborate the news.

Although Wilmer and Demi's romance was short lived, we're guessing that it won't be long before Demi is in the arms of another, much older man (remember when she was hot and heavy with 36-year-old Ryan Phillippe?).
