There are 99.6 million unmarried Americans over 18, which comprises 43.6% of the adult population. 61% of them have never been married. There were 11.7 million single parents living with their children in 2010. And in 2009, there were 6.5 million unmarried-partner households, with 581,300 of them being same-sex households. Some studies may show that singles die earlier, but at least they have all the fun.
In honor of National Unmarried And Single Americans Week, we came up with a huge initiative: 100 best things about being single! Our staff certainly knows a few (sometimes wacky) things about the single life, from not shaving your legs to listening to LMFAO.
