Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck are really taking advantage of their biological clocks. Ever since they were engaged, they've been adding another little tot to their family every three years. Like clockwork, the couple has just announced that they are expecting their third child!
According to Us Weekly, Garner has had a birthing strategy from the very beginning. A source tells the magazine, "She's always wanted three kids. This was her plan all along."
And so far, it's worked perfectly. In June 2005, on the day of their wedding ceremony, Garner was already three-months pregnant with little Violet Anne Affleck, who was born that December. Then, when Violet was quite a handful at 3-years old, Garner and Affleck had daughter number two, Seraphina Rose Elizabeth Affleck. Now, Seraphina and her older sister are both going to be big sisters. That's three children under the age of six for the famous couple! Jennifer Garner Talks Babies And Working With Ben
But how do two very busy and consistently working actors take care of such a big, young family? Both Garner, 39, and Affleck, 39, have kept things manageable by each doing four movies in the past two years (Affleck also played director in 2010's The Town).
"You have to have a great nanny and you have to have a supportive husband," Garner has said. "We figure it out day by day. It's always messy and it's never as glamorous as people think it is, but we get through, and as long as the kids are happy, it's all good."
Despite the help of their nanny, the famous duo seem to be very attentive parents. We always see pictures of them in tabloid magazines with their daughters at a playground—pushing one of them on a swing or waiting at the bottom of a slide for another. We're thinking Garner will hold true to her plan and this will be the last kid for the couple. Since they already have two gorgeous girls at home, perhaps they're hoping for a boy this time around? Affleck probably wants a little guy to take to all those Red Sox games!
