Summer is always a hot time of year for celeb spawn, and this year is no exception. Here's the latest guide to which stars are expecting and which ones are already busy parenting.
On Thursday, pop star Pink and hubby Carey Hart welcomed their first daughter, Willow Sage. Followers of Pink's Twitter page might be wondering if the singer isn't a little bit psychic, as just the night before she gave birth, she posted that the astrological alignment meant that it was "a good time to start something new." Pink later said that she and Carey were "ecstatic" about being parents, while Carey tweeted an awfully sweet message for a tough motocross dude: "My wife @Pink owns my heart. And she just gave me my best achievement of my life #WillowSageHart. Medals and flips got nothing on her." Awwww. The Top 15 YourTango Posts About Motherhood
As Pink gets to know her first baby, Lauryn Hill is preparing to bring her sixth into the world. The R&B songstress is expecting a child with "spiritual" partner, Rohan Marley, son of the late Bob Marley, with whom she has five other children. It's not exactly your average family, though, as it's quite likely that Rohan is still legally married to his first wife, Geraldine Khawly, whom he wed in 1993.
Piers Morgan, the pompous Brit who appears on TV every three minutes or so, is showing off his reproductive talents with columnist wife Celia Walden, who is carrying their first child together. Piers isn't new to fatherhood, as he has three sons with ex-wife Marion Shalloe.
Bryce Dallas Howard, who is expecting baby number two with husband Seth Gabel (Nip/Tuck), premiered her baby bump this weekend at the MTV Movie Awards. Despite showing up in a horrible pink sack, Bryce looked every bit the glowing mom-to-be. While accepting a tub of popcorn for "Best Fight," her Twilight: Eclipse co-winner/co-star, Robert Pattinson, implied that he had something to do with Bryce's current condition, joking, "I ripped your head off and now you're pregnant." Oh, that Sparkles! He's so funny! Because, you know, he meant that vampires can...well, women can get pregnant by...er, OK. We have no idea what he meant. No one does. Let's just move on.
