Rumor has it the actor and the supermodel are back together ...again.

Leonardo DiCaprio and Bar Refaeli's relationship is about as unpredictable as an episode of Jersey Shore. Since they've broken up something like three times in the last five years, you never know: Will they fight? Will they make up? Make out in a hot tub? Or will one of them punch the other? Trust us, we are just as confused as you are. On January 2nd, Leo and Bar were back together after splitting last summer, ringing in the New Year in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. On the 21st, the couple got annoyingly domestic, shopping at Target together. On the 26th, Bar, 24, who has been linked to multimillionaire Teddy Sagi and Gossip Girl star Chace Crawford, didn't want to be called Leo's girlfriend. And now, word on the street is they're back together again.
So while we're basking in that rumor's wonderful glow, let's try to make sense of their relationship. Here, a time line of the glam pair's ups and downs:
November 2005: Leo and Bar start dating when she's 20 (and he's 30). They meet at a Las Vegas party for U2. Before Bar, the actor dated supermodel Gisele Bundchen, who is now married to Tom Brady and has a child with him. Hmm, we don't know about you, but we'd pick Tom over Leo any day. March 2007: The relationship takes a political turn as Israeli Vice Premier and former Prime Minister Shimon Peres asks him to promote environmental conservation and peace in the region. Leo promises to help with both issues. Good boy!
September 2008: They are rumored to take some time off but reconciled months later.
February 2009: A rumor comes out that Leo had "something to do with" Bar's Sports Illustrated cover (the most coveted modeling gig of all time), since his ex Gisele has also been on the mag's cover and he's trying to piss her off. Really mature... YourTango naturally presumes that Bar was pressuring the actor to wed and he did the "next best thing." We're not sure about this one anymore. March 2009: Engagement rumors crop up when Leo meets Bar's parents in Israel, but sources at the time deny the claim. Silly Bar committed the faux pas of sporting a gold band on the ring finger of her left hand. Well, excuse us for thinking that means anything! Leo and Bar Are Not Engaged
June 2009: People.com reports that the couple has broken up because of Leo's commitment issues. Apparently Refaeli wanted to move in together and the Titanic star didn't. But Usweekly.com then reported seeing the two stars together shopping at Barnes & Noble and "a source close to the two" assured that they are still an item. August 2009: Evidently they did break up since Leo was spotted with 23-year-old model Anne Vyalitsyna in Ibiza, Spain. He sure seems to have a type...
November 2009: Leo and Bar enjoy a "secret" romantic getaway in the Bahamas. Are they together or aren't they? It's anybody's guess.
That pretty much brings us up to date. By the time you read this article, they will surely have broken up again and Leo will be spotted in St. Tropez with another young leggy model. If this is his behavior at age 35, we shudder at the thought of what his midlife crisis will look like.
