Jon & Kate: A 'Rosy' Divorce?
Things go well for John & Kate at their arbitration meeting on Saturday.

We've just learned from our friends over at PopEater.com that Jon Gosselin and Kate Gosselin could be about a month away from finalizing their divorce, and that—even more surprising—recent talks around an arbitration table in Pennsylvania on Saturday have been so successful and productive that further meetings have been cancelled.
The day started with John presenting, and Kate rejecting, a symbolic bouquet of roses.
This has been called the real-life War of the Roses," says [Jon Gosselin's Lawyer Mark] Heller, referring to the 1989 black comedy in which Michael Douglas and Kathleen Turner played bitterly battling spouses, "and he brought that as a peace offering to break the ice and try to bring the war to an end." Even though the bouquet was a bit tongue-in-cheek, the real gift Jon gave Kate was the promise not to fight her for primary custody of their eight kids. Also smoothing out the proceedings is the fact that neither party is seeking spousal support. According to TMZ, the two main issues still on the table are distribution of assets and child support and that will be handed down within 30 days.
During the day there were reportedly a couple of very emotional moments, says Heller, "but in the end it all came together and concluded on a happy note."
It was a positive move in the right direction for us to bring them together to the mediation table," says Heller of getting Jon and Kate into the same room for the hearing. "Obviously before two warring parties can smoke the peace pipe, they have to sit down at a table and address the issues that brought them to the skirmish." [Source: People]
