Jenna Jameson Is Proud Of Porn Past
Adult film superstar tells Oprah that her movies are full of love.

Armed with statistics that prove a growing number of women are watching porn, Oprah Winfrey's Tuesday show was dedicated to finding out why. (Um, because women enjoy sex too?) Much of the reporting was done by Lisa Ling, while Oprah mostly squirmed uncomfortably in her chair. Porn: When It Helps & When It Hurts
One of Oprah's guests was Jenna Jameson, still the world's biggest porn star despite the fact that she retired five years ago. Aside from worrying what she will one day tell her twin sons about their mommy's former career, Jenna told Oprah that she has no regrets about the path she chose. She set out to be the #1 porn star in the world and succeeded, all on her own terms. Never allowing herself to be exploited, Jenna called all the shots—from what she did onscreen to how much she got paid for doing it—and changed the mostly male-run adult film industry for every girl who followed her.
Jenna suggested that women particularly enjoy her sex scenes because her co-star in most of them was then-husband, Jay Grdina. She believes that the audience can sense the connection between them, stating, "I think that that’s why my movies sell so well. You can see love." Hmm, is that what that is? Interesting. We never knew that full frontal love could nab a film an X-rating. Having Sex Vs. Making Love
Of course, Jenna neglected to mention her revolving door of co-stars during the seven years before meeting her husband, but we suppose Oprah only had so much time.
When Oprah asked Jenna if she was proud of her past, the ex-XXX queen responded, "I love who I am. I love that I can look back and say, 'I did it my way.'"
