LeAnn Rimes Talks About Love And Revenge

Both Leann Rimes and Dean Sheremet opened up about their split over the weekend. Friends of the couple had told reporters that the pair had separated, some even saying that they had been apart for months. Rimes performed at the Deer Valley Music Festival in Utah on Saturday night and according to Us Magazine, she had a little something to say about relationships and revenge. Before singing her song, "God Takes Care of Your Kind," Rimes said, "It is inevitable that sometimes in a relationship, you will have your heart broken. Sometimes you don't do anything, but sometimes you want revenge. Sometimes you don't, and that's when you just leave it in God's hands and know that He will take care of it."

After Rimes' comment, Sheremet used Twitter to make a statement. He simply said, "Thanks to everyone for all the support through a very difficult time!"

Rimes was only 19 when she married Sheremet seven years ago. The source who spilled about their separation went on to say that the two remain best friends and are not divorcing right now, but taking time apart to figure out what they want from their relationship.

What Rimes has not opened up about is her rumored affair with actor Eddie Cibrian. The two were caught on video kissing while dining back in March. Rimes and Cibrian met when they co-starred in the Lifetime movie event Northern Lights. Cibrian and his wife Brandi Glanville also recently split up, reportedly because of the affair.
