Anyone who was holding their breath waiting for Matthew McConaughey to marry his baby mama, Camila Alves, should go ahead and exhale. The star of the new romantic comedy Ghosts of Girlfriends Past says, "It's just not something I plan on doing right now, and that I feel like I need to do right now." He goes on to say, "It's not an institution I'm against at all. I'm actually for it, believe in it and have seen it actually be very, very healthy for many relationships. Some people go through it some great ways.I don't have any plans for it."
McConaughey and Alves have a son together, Levi, 1. Only time will tell if the two decide to marry but it doesn’t look like the longtime bachelor has any desire to hang up that title anytime soon. As long as everyone is clear on this arrangement, everything should be fine: you don’t want either party to be dazed and confused when it comes to marriage expectations.
