Asking your boss for sex clearly crosses the line from work flirting to sexual harassment.
A female police officer in Australia was recently fired for begging a number of her colleagues for sex. Apparently, within mere days of starting work, Jessica Parfrey propositioned her supervisor. When he turned her down, she was incredulous, responding with, "Can't we just f***? I am a 19-year-old girl, what is wrong with you?" She also offered several other coworkers oral sex, and harassed another via text message, later offering "to help him study for his police exams by stripping off an item of clothing for every question he got correct."All of these men turned Parfrey down, and … Read More
A bicurious woman who dates men and women tells us what girl on girl is really like.
It's not news that sexual fluidity has been working its way into the mainstream. We all know the girl who experimented in college and then went back to guys, or the middle-aged woman who left her husband for some turquoise artisan in Taos named Deborah.
Both seem to be examples of the stronger sexual preference winning out in the end. But more and more, it's becoming acceptable for women to "hop the fence"—that is, to make the occasional gender switch-up in casual sex and in long-term relationships. I know, 'cause I'm one of 'em.
Although I'd always privately identified as bisexual, Read More

Sometimes a well thought-out email might be a gracious way to end a relationship.
Today we stumbled across an article that claimed over half of 2,000 people surveyed for DateTheUK had dumped a significant other via some sort of electronic device. In this instance, "electronically" meant updating a Facebook relationship status (ouch), sending out an ominous tweet or shooting a "hey, let's just be friends" e-mail. This left only 46 percent who were traditional enough (or perhaps just not Internet savvy) to break ties in person or over the phone. Actual phone, not text, that is. Dumped for Punctuation!
This is supposed to be shocking (it isn't) and even lends … Read More
A new study shows men would be less focused on work and money if it weren't for women and marriage.
Awhile back we met a guy who told us the only reason men care so much about making money is so they can score a hot wife. Screw all those flowery ideals and insurmountable career ambitions—men are simple, he said. Simple and lazy. If our bank accounts and impressive job titles didn't net us women, there would be no need for them. We can easily live off ramen noodles and watch ESPN all day. Men Are Riskiest When Looking For Sex
Of course, we didn't like this rationale and wrote off said man as a shallow nincompoop. Yet this morning, … Read More
What she's really trying to say with a V-neck top and high heels may surprise you.
I feel really sorry for the guys who read Men’s Health and get all sorts of bad advice ... usually in the form of “insightful” articles written by women. I can only imagine these ladies must have been dumped hard-core—maybe in a text message or at their mother’s funeral or something—to have it out for men the way they do. What else explains the desire to push guys in the wrong direction time and time again? To set them up not just for rejection and failure, but for utter humiliation as well? This time the readers of Men’s Health—oh, the … Read More
Valentine's Day is just over the horizon, and dudes will probably start thinking of gifts right around the 11th. While most ladies will try to read into what a fella means by a gift, I'm far more interested in what the presents have to say about the gift-giving guy. Here's what some very standard gifts reveal about your special guy. Read: Valentine's Day Traditions Around The World
Abstaining from a sex life and choosing celibacy for reasons other than religion.
Recently Bristol and mom Sarah Palin made a headline-grabbing appearance on Oprah, during which new mom Bristol made an on-air vow to abstain from sex and remain celibate until marriage. Whether you see this as a sincere vow of a teen mom humbled by the grown-up situation she's found herself in, or as a publicity stunt aimed at boosting her and her ambitious mother's conservative image, celibacy continues to gain attention in both the teen and adult worlds as a lifestyle choice.
While we often think of celibacy as a religious choice, there are plenty of people who undertake it … Read More
If male genes are so different from apes, why can't they remember to put the toilet seat down?
Call it a literal battle of the sexes: Researchers just revealed that the male Y chromosome is more evolved than ours.
The discovery—unearthed by a female MIT researcher—shows that the Y chromosome has advanced so much over the last 6 million years that there's now a 30 percent difference between the male genetic code and that of chimps, our nearest ancestor. For the rest of the human genetic code, there's only a 2 percent difference. Lemondrop: Lonliness May Be in the Genes
Naturally, the findings have men cheering and women scoffing in disbelief over the idea that males could possibly be … Read More

Our greatest joys and greatest sorrows often arrive in the context of our close relationships. When we look back over our lives, we remember the people we loved and our intimate times with them, as well as the losses, the conflicts, and those who drifted away.
In my book The Power of Women, I show you how women can harness their tremendous mental and interpersonal strengths to fortify their relationships and enrich their lives. Let me illustrate how one woman, Kirsten, overcame a threat to her marriage and her quality of life.
Like many couples nowadays, Kirsten and Greg found themselves … Read More
