Navigating life can be a hard, lonely business. Whether it's in a session one-on-one, speaking in front of a group, or writing to the multitudes, my work is centered in helping people move towards the life they want and desire.
About Traci Pirri
Whether you are struggling with depression and anxiety, negative relationship patterns, feeling stuck and unmotivated, or difficulty dealing with the every day, I provide a safe place to explore and build a better tomorrow. Since 2004, I have been in private practice in Raleigh, NC providing individual and family therapy, consultation, and supervision services. I specialize in healing the pain caused by physical and sexual abuse, domestic violence, military service or other traumas.
I integrate an ecclectic approach based on evidenced-based treatment models such as cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, EMDR as well as motivational interviewing and supportive counseling techniques. I teach the skills needed to heal and overcome the scars of the past. I also enjoy work with issues such as parenting, adoption, infertility, and sexuality.
I offer a variety of articles on my blog on topics such as parenting, adoption, sexuality, anxiety management, and mindfulness among others. Or if you are ready for more in-depth work and want to see if I might be a good fit for you, I'd be happy to hear from you!
