Leslie Petruk is a Child & Family Therapist, Board Certified Coach and Parenting Expert. She has worked with children, couples and families to help them lead more connected and compassionate lives for over fifteen years. She also coaches working mothers in her Leadership For Working Moms Coaching programs to help them overcome the overwhelm of managing the many roles they play and find more freedom, calm and passion in their lives.  Leslie and her husband of 19 years live in Charlotte, NC with their three children where she owns and runs her Counseling Center, SteppingStones Counseling & Consulting. Leslie’s greatest joy is her husband and three children. Her 11 year old son has special needs, she along with her two daughters have been blessed with ADHD, and her husband is dyslexic! So, suffice it to say – she knows the challenges which she speaks of. Leslie loves sharing “this was not one of my finer parenting moment” stories when she teaches and coaches parents, and with three children she’ll never run out of stories to share! Leslie is a contributing writer for Little Ones Magazine and is often interviewed for news stories related to various Parenting topics and has been interviewed for articles in publications such as Ode Magazine, SheKnows.com, Charlotte Parent and many others. She is the author of the upcoming book, “OMG! I Sound Just Like My Mother: How to Parent your way with courage, clarity and compassion”.
