What Would Your Relationship & Life Look Like If You Could Design It Exactly As You Wanted?
“It is only with the heart that one can see rightly; what is essential is invisible to the eye.”
-Antoine de Saint Exupery
Psychotherapy – Counseling – Coaching - Consulting
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) specializing in Marriage and Family Counseling and Sexual Health. My clinical work is inspired by both Western Psychology and Eastern Contemplative Psychology. They have complementary functions; each is limited without the other. I am a healer, an inspirational communicator, and a storyteller. I drew from my own expereiences, mistakes, and heartbreaks as well as my professional training to explore the many ways people connect and relate to each other.
My work is intuitive and employs radical transformation techniques. I work with women and men, individaually or as couples to establish healthy, authentic, fully self-expressed, and loving relationships. A couple forms a partnership to create synergy and harmony in relationship and in family, which permeates life even beyond the home. They experience safety and security by getting in touch with inner peace. Everything stems from connecting to one another. My clients discover the hidden secrets of communication, manage conflicts powerfully, and experience greater emotional and sexual intimacy to create their ultimate relationship.
Currently, I maintain a private practice in Wheat Ridge, Colorado, minutes from downtown Denver.
“I believe that in our constant search for security we can never gain any peace of mind until we are secure in our own soul.” -Margaret Claire Smith
The Reason I Became A Helping Professional
I am fascinated by human connections. Why do we suffer and what tools or steps are available to overcome these seemingly unchangeable conditions? Finding the answer is a personal and professional quest.
Since I discovered traditional meditation, my life has not been the same. This experience led to meditation practice and teaching. However, I needed to better understand the mind/body connection, how the mind thinks, and how the body feels and acts. This and my burning desire to help others led me to graduate from Naropa University's Contemplative Psychology program in the year 2000.
I value peace, intimacy, spirituality, high integrity, and responsibility. This is the stand I take for others and for my own life. My passions include dancing, cooking, travel and live musical theatre. Dancing is a way to express myself. Cooking is a creative outlet. Travel and live musical theatre add spice to life. My life is about embracing all of it and drawing out love and compassion.
