No more procrastination and make 4th of July a date to remember with your LOVER—make those FIREWORKS
July 4th might not be the most romantic holiday—but as it falls on a Saturday this upcoming weekend, it makes for a great excuse to plan a date night with your significant other. Daters can opt for the typical backyard BBQ and evening fireworks (in hopes that will lead to late-night fireworks!) but step it up this year and do something special to celebrate your relationship.
If you want to do the classic picnic and fireworks show, Jenny Appelbaum, Founder & Matchmaker of Jenny Apple Matchmaking, advises daters that the "Westside has a couple of excellent choices" for last-minute planners. "Pack a picnic basket with fresh berries, cheeses, bread, olive and wine (don’t forget the glasses and bottle opener!)—a towel or blanket and head to the Marina or Pacific Palisades (food trucks start running at 4pm—Palisades High School) to watch the action."
For those procrastinators still looking for 4th of July date ideas in Los Angeles, here are a few options to creating your very own 4th of July fireworks:
