Welcome! For those of you who have been to my web site at DrShosh.com… or heard me on the radio show… you know that my favorite saying is “Life is Beautiful!” Even when we are going through the rough times, I always know that, indeed, life is beautiful and that solutions are just around the corner.

As a young mom, I personally survived two life-threatening postpartum depressions. I know firsthand what other women go through and I know how terribly scared and alone we can feel. I also now know that help is easy to find when you have a good friend leading the way, which is why I made helping others my life mission.

If you sometimes wonder:
“Do other mothers feel this way?”
“Is this normal or do I need help?”
“I feel awful and I don’t know where to turn,”

Contact me and I’ll get right back to you, no matter where I might be speaking in the world at that time. Once we start talking, you’ll know that you’re not alone and that personal solutions are close at hand.

For over twenty years, I’ve helped thousands of other women break through illness and get back to their normal, productive lives. For me, it was great to learn that there are natural, simple steps that can help support each of us through all of life’s adjustments. As you get to know me, you’ll find that I am very solution-oriented instead of problem-focused (which dominates so much of women's health care).

I often say that I have “the best job in the world” helping other women realize that what they’re going through is something they can understand, manage and from which they can actually grow. I do this in a variety of ways which include private phone consultations, group workshops and presentations to other health and wellness practitioners who want to better understand how they, too, can help their clients and patients. It gives me great joy to know that I’ve helped others maneuver those challenging hormonal changes that are part of life.

You can also schedule a private consultation by calling (707) 875-9961 or hear me on the radio at DrShosh.com. (By the way… if you’d like to be a guest on the radio show, just call 800-599-2449 - we can talk about anything!)

I am so proud to be part of the YourTango community and I look forward to sharing this wonderful adventure with you. Life is Beautiful! And I know we can get there by sharing together.
