Karen Anderson (LMFT,MS)
If I had to sum up my purpose and passion, it would be this: I give total support and guidance to those who desire to seek conscious relationship - whether with themselves or when in relationship with another. A relationship that is centered on love, authenticity, vulnerability and the tenents of showing up, being known, seen and loved.
I have a profound interest, empathy and resolve to help people find their way around love, intimacy, vulnerability, spirituality; and living and loving wide awake. I assist individuals who are struggling to release shame and open up to vulnerability, to live a life full of connection and intimacy. I also work with individuals and couples who are trying to sort through their relationships either to clean them up or as they make the hard decision of bringing it to a close.
I have a successful private practice as a licensed marriage and family therapist. My training includes addictions and trauma work as well as being able to present the work of Brene´Brown and her curriculum of The Daring Way™. The powerful work of Show Up, Been Seen, Live Brave™.
Presently I also teach part-time at the University of Nevada Las Vegas (UNLV) on the subject of Successful Couple and Marital Relationships.
