About Cynthia Chestnut

Dr. Cynthia Chestnut is an Approved Supervisor and Clinical Fellow for the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy. She has Ph.D. in Couple and Family Therapy and over 20 years of leadership responsibility in human relations, personal growth and professional development of individuals. Dr. Chestnut served as a Relationship Expert of The Nick Taliaferro Show of Talk Radio WURD 900 AM, which is broadcasted out of Philadelphia, PA and streamline on the Internet, podcast, and APP. She has extensive training in play therapy for children, teens and adults. She is trained as a Critical Incident Stress Management National EAP Provider. Some of her experiences include working at Philadelphia Child Guidance, CHOP, The Salvation Army Family Shelters, Private Practice, Founder and CEO of The Center for Couple & Family Life Services, as well as holding different positions at NorthEast Treatment Centers.
