So, it's pretty safe to assume that one of the things that we all have in common is the fact that we just want to be happy. Even though getting there can sometimes feel like a huge journey, we've got to ourselves to fight for the happiness that we deserve. But figuring out how to do that when everything seems to be weighing down on us is half the battle.
Life coach Lisa Kaplin knows that this sounds like it's easier said than done. That's why she makes it a point to stress that we really have to think about changing our mindset on things that happen to us everyday For starters, we sometimes spend so much time obsessing over the little things and giving negativity a chance to bring us down instead of just letting things go. Even if we ended up having a bad day, that doesn't automatically mean that we'll have a bad year or a bad life. Focusing on the negatives will do nothing but add fuel to the fire. We have to make the effort to stay positive because it won't happen overnight. By taking those steps, we can one day get to a point where we realize that we don't have to sweat the small stuff.
