It's Oscar season! Which means it's time to start judging celebrity gowns and bickering in the office about who should have won. But it might also mean the end of a relationship for one unlucky starlet if the Oscar love curse strikes again. Though the main hits are taken by the Best Actress winners, there have been incidents of the Best Supporting Actress winners being struck and having their relationships end. Actresses from Bette Davis to Kate Winslet have been victims of the Oscar Curse.
There have been a few exceptions, like Joanne Woodward, who won Best Actress in 1958 and was happily married to Paul Newman until his death in 2008. The same went for Jessica Tandy and a small handful of other actresses. This year, only half of the ladies are safe, either being currently single or windows of long-time spouses.
