'Grease' Co-Stars Singing Together Again For Holiday Album!

By

John Travolta & Olivia Newton-John
'Grease' fans have been waiting 35 years for a reunion, so 'This Christmas' they're in for a treat!

With Christmas time around the corner, we are hopelessly devoted to getting a new holiday CD, and this one is the one that we want. Danny Zuko and Sandy Olsen singing together again after 35 years seems like the perfect way to celebrate.

That's right! Grease co-stars Olivia Newton-John and John Travolta will be singing together again, this time on a new holiday album This Christmas. One song on the CD will be an original duet titled 'I Think You Might Like It.' Yes, we think we might. Especially since it's a sequel to 'You're The One That I Want,' the on-screen couple's duet from Grease that holds the record for the highest-selling duet in pop music history! Both hits were written by John Farrar.

"My desire was to make This Christmas an intimate album, not something too ostentatious or showy," Newton-John, 64 said. "I wanted people to be able to play it around the house or in the car during the holidays, and make us part of your celebration."

As if the singers' reunion wasn't enough, other big voices are appearing on the album like Barbra Streisand, Tony Bennett and Kenny G! To top it all off, 100% of the album's proceeds go to the Jeff Travolta Foundation and the Olivia Newton-John Cancer and Wellness Centre in Melbourne. Could these two get any better?

"John and I have always connected," Newton-John said of Travolta, 58. "That’s never gone away. When we’re together, we have a good laugh and feel bonded to one another. We’ve been through some amazing experiences together."

We know that this is yet another amazing experience. This Christmas will be released on November 14.

Tell us: Are you as excited as we are to pick up the new album?
