Reese Witherspoon: Kissing Robert Pattinson Was 'Disgusting'

Reese Witherspoon has it so hard these days. She recently tied the knot with super-agent Jim Toth (ick). She just got back from her honeymoon in sunny Belize (ew), and now she has to promote her film, Water for Elephants, with the "disgusting" Robert Pattinson... Seriously?! Can't she catch a break?

Yes, folks, we're only kidding. However, Reese really did say that the love scenes she shared with Rob on their upcoming film were a bit on the gross side. Listen as she complains (much to the disdain of tween vampire fans around the globe) to In Touch Weekly about having to lock lips with Pattinson on the set:

"Rob possibly had the most hideous horrible cold of any co-star I've ever had to do a love scene with ever in my entire life," she said. "He was literally snorting and snotting through every second of it—and it was not appealing. I'm talking green, infectious, disgusting—I'm not kidding!" Yep, Reese just wasn't feelin' the whole kissing-Rob thing. And after all the build-up surrounding the actor's newly-cemented heartthrob status, she was actually looking forward to these little romantic sequences with the sexiest onscreen vampire of all time. Rob just had to go and get himself a cold during the shoot. What a letdown.

"I'm going to say it's a little bit of a downer," Reese confessed. "I was a little disappointed. It wasn't sexy."

Poor girl! Like a trooper, she suffers for her art.
