And the awards for best off-screen chemistry go to...
Although there were many great pairs at the 2010 Emmys, we only have nine places on our list of Best Emmy-Night Couples. It's too bad that January Jones and Jason Sudeikis didn't make the cut. We know that everyone was anticipating their official "coming out" as a couple on Emmy night, but we couldn't concentrate on them because January's fugger-than-fug dress took all the focus away from her adorable date. Jason Sudeikis And January Jones: It Is On
1. Claire Danes and Hugh Dancy - Next to Glee's Lea Michele (in all of her navy, ruffled glory), Claire Danes was the best-dressed woman on Emmy night, in her slinky, strapless, beaded, champagne Armani Privé gown. With a glowing tan and tousled blonde hair, she looked every inch the California girl. And the very charming, British man candy on her arm—actor hubby Hugh Dancy—was the perfect accessory.
2. Amy Poehler and Will Arnett - Amy and Will actually celebrated their seventh wedding anniversary on Emmy night, so congrats to them. These two are just adorable, and should win Best Couple awards wherever they go. Amy looked so amazing in her powder blue Max Azria dress that, if we hadn't already known, we'd never have guessed that she just gave birth to the couple's second son three weeks ago!
3. Eva Longoria Parker and Tony Parker - Desperate Housewives star Eva looked stunning in a black Robert Rodriguez gown with a train, while basketballer husband Tony just looked happy to be with her. At one point, he even gave Eva an affectionate kiss on the forehead, seeming oblivious to the hungry paparazzi. Awww.
4. Neil Patrick Harris and David Burtka - Last year's host, NPH, hit the red carpet in a spiffy gray Calvin Klein suit with black lapels alongside his longtime partner, who opted for basic black. Although Neil lost the Best Supporting Comedy Actor award to Modern Family's Eric Stonestreet, he picked up earlier Emmys for last year's hosting duties and his fantastic guest-starring role on Glee.
