Blast From Gavin's Past
Ex-beau spills all for InTouch Weekly

We all know, some people just don't know when to shut up. We're sure Gavin Rossdale agrees.
British-pop icon from the '80s, Marilyn, called up InTouch Weekly to give them the low down on an alleged 5-year love affair between himself and the former Bush frontman.
The now 46-year-old Marilyn, told the magazine that Rossdale actually pursued him when he was a rising star on the London club scene way back in 1981. Rossdale, then 16 years old, appeared at many of he singer's appearances despite Marilyn's attempts to rebuff him.
"I started feeling really bad," Marilyn told InTouch. "He never really did anything other than worship me."
Marilyn eventually gave in and the couple entered a committed relationship. According to the former star, he agreed to keep the relationship a secret as Rossdale was starting to get noticed in the United States.
"I agreed to lie against every grain of my being," Marilyn told the magazine.
Now, Rossdale's representatives deny Marilyn's story, and Rossdale has previously admitted to only close friendship with Marilyn—nothing more.
When Boy George wrote about the relationship in his 1995 autobiography, Rossdale said, "I wasn't dating Marilyn. We were, and still are, good friends."
And while Marilyn says the two remain close, apparently Rossdale's wife, Gwen Stefani, isn't so warm to Marilyn. The singer, who said he has been close with all of Rossdale's significant others since their relationship said he doesn't have the same bond with Stefani.
Marilyn never received an official invitation to the Rossdale-Stefaninuptials, but showed up anyhow. And while he tells InTouch he thinks Stefani was good for Rossdale, apparently Stefani isn't inviting him over anytime soon.
"I found out my name is taboo in their house," Marilyn tells the publication. "Someone close to Gwen told me."
Now, while we love a scandal as much as the next, we're wondering why Marilyn decided to spill the beans now. Our money's is on Marilyn's greatest hits CD.
