Bay’s career began as a model while she was still in high school. According to Bay herself, she went into Seventeen Magazine asking for an internship, and they told her she might be more suited toward modeling, so she signed with Ford Models the same day.

She went on to model for Estee Lauder before pivoting to on-camera journalism. She went on to host Moneyline on CNN, along with other anchoring gigs.
