About ME

Joyce Dolberg Rowe M.Ed., LMHC is a psychotherapist, hypnotherapist, and speaker. She has been in private practice since 1980 providing coaching and counseling.

She is the Clinical Director for John Gray’s Mars & Venus Counseling Centers and in this capacity offers supervision and coaching for up to 25 practicing psychologists.

Joyce developed a couples Coaching Program, a Leadership Development Program and is founder and Clinical Director of the Awareness Anger Management Program. She is also co-founder of Alpha Coaching, a program developed in 1998 to deliver Executive Coaching and Life Coaching.

She oversees program delivery, and gives presentations and delivers keynote addresses at conferences and conventions internationally.

Her clinical cases and interviews are regularly featured in Ladies Home Journal’s “Can This Marriage Be Saved” article, the longest running article in a ladies magazine in the United States. Access to these articles are found on her home page: www.marsvenusboston.com
Two-term Past President of the Massachusetts Mental Health Counselors Association, former Director of Continuing Education for the Massachusetts Hypnosis Society, and member of the American Mental Health Counselors Association, she has been active in the professional organizations of her field since 1980. Active member of the National Speakers Association, she has presented internationally on a wide range of topics that surround the field of leadership development, executive and personal coaching, and improving communication in the workplace and at home.
Ms. Dolberg Rowe holds undergraduate degrees in psychology and sociology, and a Masters of Education with a concentration in Counseling Psychology from University of Massachusetts.
