Christine Stoddard is a Brooklyn-based writer and artist originally from Virginia. Her stories have appeared in Marie Claire, Cosmopolitan, Bustle, Ravishly, Native Peoples, Redbook, xoJane, and beyond. She is the founding editor of Quail Bell Magazine and Comicality Magazine, the author of Hispanic and Latino Heritage in Virginia, the director of The Persistence of Poe, and the poetess behind The Children of Jackson Ward. In 2014, Folio Magazine named Christine one of the media industry's top 20 visionaries in their 20s.
