Aria Gmitter, M.F.A., M.S., is YourTango's Senior Editor for Horoscopes and Spirituality.
Aria is a writer, editor, astrologer, theologian, tarotist, numerologist, and mother of four children.
She earned her undergraduate degree in comparative religious studies from the University of Miami, her Master's in Creative Writing for Media from Full Sail University, and her Master's in Health Law from Nova Southeastern University. She earned her Diploma of Astrological Excellence from the Midwest School of Astrology with an astrologer. Pam Gallagher. Aria also earned her tarot certificate at The School of Oracles led by Ellen Goldberg.
She has completed coursework in Vibrational Astrology with David Cochrane, Vedic astrology with AstroLada, and Financial and Horary astrology with Vedic astrologer, Astro Vicktor. She is a member of OPA, ISAR, NCGR - Florida Chapter, and L.C.A.A.
In 2022, she authored the Amazon Best Seller, "Horror Tarot Deck & Guidebook (August 9, 2022), published by Insight Editions.
When she's not writing, she can be found eating way too much peanut butter while spending all her money on books or out walking her dogs while counting stars.
