The disgraced politician resigned today after a scandal-filled month.

Three weeks after being caught with his pants down—literally—New York Congressman Anthony Weiner has resigned. The disgraced politician has finally taken responsibility for sexting multiple women after going the "deny, deny, deny" route for far too long. According to Radar Online, Weiner shared the news earlier today at a press conference held at the same Brooklyn senior citizens' center where he announced his inaugural City Council run back in 1992. “I’m here today to again apologize for the personal mistakes I have made and the embarrassment I have caused,” he announced (via New York Times), while hecklers yelled taunts like "Bye, bye, pervert!" “I make this apology to my neighbors and my constituents, but I make it particularly to my wife, Huma.”

Ahh, yes, Huma Abedin, Weiner's pregnant wife and right-hand gal to Hillary Clinton. Unwittingly thrust into the spotlight, Abedin recently returned from a trip to the Middle East and entered the eye of the media storm. Time will tell whether she stands by her man, but according to, many major news outlets predict that Abedin will stay put. And as for Weiner? He'll likely land on his feet—after all, not only is the politician cleaning up his image with sex rehab, but TMZ is reporting that he's also gotten a job offer from none other than Larry Flynt. (The mogul even offered Weiner a 20 percent raise!) Chalk it up as another entry for the "Strange But True" files. Anthony Weiner Checks Into Sex Rehab
