5 Reasons Why Bisexuals Perfer Adult Dating Sites
Love, Sex

I'm not joking. Adult dating sites are really best online dating platforms for bisexuals.

When it comes to the best bisexual dating sites, there is a lot of disagreement as to which ones work well and which ones don’t.

Naturally, this choice always comes down to a combination of personal preference and a site's perceived effectiveness, meaning that there will never be universal agreement as to which one is actually best.

Mainstream dating sites such as Tinder, OKCupid, and Match.com are among the most popular in the world. They offer the chance to connect to a huge number of users, based on whatever criteria a member chooses.

Nearly all the mainstream sites cater for the LGBTQ community, offering search results based on sexual preference, something that when coupled with their huge number of members, has seen healthy numbers of LGBTQ users flock to these sites in droves.

Adult dating sites emerged shortly after the first mainstream sites, filling a gap in the market. Sites such as Adult Friend Finder, Get It On, and Bi Cupid, all have user numbers that are in the region of 1 million members.

Though this figure is significantly lower than their mainstream counterparts, these specialized adult dating sites have a number of positives that make them the preferred choice when it comes to bisexual dating.

To explain why bisexual online daters tend to prefer adult dating sites to mainstream ones, here are 5 reasons why adult dating sites are best:

1. They have a larger user base of LGBTQ members.

The simple fact of the matter is that when it comes down to it, adult dating sites have more members when it comes to LGBTQ dating. Tinder is the largest dating site with over 30,000,000 users, where the majority of users are heterosexual and much lower amounts being LGBTQ.

Dating sites don’t release much in the way of data about their member’s sex preferences, but it is generally assumed that the LGBTQ community prefers sites that are tailored more for their particular sexual preferences, for several key reasons.

Firstly, they are more likely to meet like-minded people and secondly, they are less likely to get time wasters or bigoted people contacting them. LGBTQ specific sites are therefore considered to be the best choice for most non-heterosexuals who are looking to meet new people.

2. Users are free to talk about more sexual topics.

Let’s be honest, who can honestly say that they haven’t found it great to turn up the excitement once in a while when chatting to some hot match online?

Though many of the mainstream sites do allow you to make the chat as spicy as you please, most prevent or object to certain behavior, such as sending what has charmingly become known as "di*k pic", for example.

Worse still, if this kind of behavior comes to the attention of the administrators, users risk possible lifetime bans which will have inevitable consequences to their dating life.

With adult dating sites, there are no such restrictions. Provided users respect the boundaries of others, all sorts of behavior are permitted, meaning users can really turn up the heat when they want to have some fun.

3. They are possibilities for other kinds of relationships.

Even the best mainstream site is still very limited when it comes to definitions of sexuality. For the most part, members are only given options relating to heterosexual, gay, lesbian, bisexual, and a few others.

Mainstream sites’ "looking for" options, in regard to dating preferences, are also very limited, frequently only listing serious, fun and not sure, as their options.

Since a large number of bisexuals will have undergone a deeper journey of exploration into their sexuality (something the pressures of a heterosexual society force upon anyone perceived as different), many bisexuals are interested in types of relationships that don’t fit ‘ordinary’ categories.

For example, when was the last time you saw an option for a polygamous relationship on a mainstream dating site?

Adult dating sites seem to be far more sensitive to this issue and therefore cater for it much more effectively. When surveyed, this is another huge plus that members of the LGBTQ community as a whole prefer about adult dating sites.

4. They provide other activities besides dating.

Online dating sites are increasingly offering additional features such as video calls and group chats, though surprisingly, some of the biggest are still yet to do so.

Adult dating sites, on the other hand, are fiercely competing to offer the more and more additional features in order to win over users from other sites.

Recognizing that many of their users like to be able to chat with other members face-to-face, both individually and in groups, many adult dating sites now offer a huge range of additional features and interestingly, activities such as online parties for their members.

As we have already seen, there are no restrictions on content either, so these chats and parties can get quite raunchy from time to time too.

5. They give users the chance to be themselves without fear of judgment.

The fact that adult dating sites are tailored to allow for more sexually charged encounters, as well as generally being more tailored to sex and sexuality, makes them more appealing to people who just want to be themselves without fear of discrimination.

Though naturally, this does mean the chance of a nasty encounter occurring is zero, these are just as much as a problem on mainstream sites where people are subject to obscene or offensive messages every day also.

For bisexuals and other members of the LGBTQ community, there is the added security of being able to use dedicated sites that remove the chance of undesirable encounters with the bigoted clowns who have nothing better to do than troll the internet causing trouble.

Since many adult dating sites are paid membership, this fact is enough of a deterrent to keep them out, whereas with sites like Tinder it only takes a user to alter their sexual preference for them to get access to LGBTQ members.
