Diminished Capacity

The purpose of a car is to get you from Destination A to Destination B.

Cars were created as a means of transportation. They were time saving instruments. They have become killing machines. Many young drivers are intoxicated while cruising down the highway. These vehicles are driven by people who are in a state of diminished capacity.  When you operate in a diminished capacity you cause unnecessary heartache and pain. This is a wound made by a choice; without the thought of consequences. Let's help young adults make the choice to stand on excellence.

Drinking and driving is a choice. Let's help young adults make the choice to create magnificence instead of mayhem in their lives. Let's remind them not to use their 'Spring Break' to engage in acts of personal destruction. Author Don M. Green wrote in the preface of the book Your Greatest Power, "We all have choices to make on a daily basis, and the sum total of these choices defines our station in life. Our choices determine if we are a part of society's ills or an instrument in the solutions that will help make the world a better place in which to live.

It is important that we make young adults know that drinking and driving contributes to the ills of society. I invite you to share the plays Don’t Lose Your Head or Fragrance of Life with the young adults that you love or care about. Share it with your youth reading groups. Let it live on the shelves in your educational institutions. I wrote these dramatic family plays to help young adults understand that they are responsible for the choices they make.
