  2. Get a website. Having a website gives your business credibility and strengthens your brand. Let's be honest, customers don't buy from businesses. They buy from people they know and trust. Your potential customers will not spend a dime on your product or services until they now more about you first. That's why your website is a great way introduce yourself to your customers. Having a website is great way to showcase your services and expertise.

If your customers like your website they'll more than likely refer others to it. You can also include a newsletter to communicate more with your customers and build a valuable client list. It is much easier to retain satisfied past clients than it is to acquire new ones. This is the only medium that customers can access to your services, from anywhere in the world. The best part is that the website is open 24/7 and customers can access it at their convenience.

Social media marketing involves sharing content of any kind on social media sites like Facebook, Twitter and the like, for marketing purposes. I'm telling you now, if your just using social media to stay in contact with friends, your losing money! There are so many potential clients you can reach by simple chatting on these site. But first you have to decide what messages you want your audiences to receive.

Have a plan of action in place and use relavent content has way to connect with your audience. Mix up the content by using pictures, text-based content and videos to get your message across. It's also a good idea to follow fellow twitters on Tweeter who are in your industry because this will result in others following you. 

  1. Become a guest blogger. Writing on someone else's already established blog is a great way to introduce yourself to potential clients. Building these connections can result in high yields for your business. Be selective of what sites you submit your content too. Some websites will allow any content, but only the pick the ones that are worth your time.

The goal is to add to your credibility and give more exposure to your brand. It also helps if you're interacting with the audience as well. For example, if someone has a comment or question in the comment section of page, it is beneficial for you to engage in conversation with them. But i suggest that you always keep it professional! Adding backlinks in your blog, is a great way to drive traffic to your site. Another added benefit is that Google will crawl your blog and the link you posted in the content.

  1. Give away free stuff. This may sound kind of strange but giving free stuff can actually help you generate more income. I can't tell you how many referrals I've gotten from giving free services to my clients. Believe me, there is a method to the madness. If you give away high quality free  services to your potential clients, they will automatically assume that your paid services are even better. Your free services are just for promotional purposes and way to draw in your potential clients. It's also a way to show your expertise in your field, without looking-like a typical salesperson. You can also provide high quality content via a newsletter and have them sign up to receive the free information.
